The Luxury Farm Suites are located in the Farmstead, a stand-alone luxury safari lodge located in close proximity to the Royal Malewane. The three stand-alone one-bedroom Luxury Farm Suites welcome guests 10 years and older who have the unique facilities of the Farmstead at their doorstep, accessible by an elevated walkway directly from their suite. Personally decorated by talented owner Liz Biden, the unique design represents a combination of styles from two other Royal Portfolio properties, The Silo Hotel in Cape Town and La Residence in Franschhoek. 

The 182sqm Luxury Farm Suites feature an elegantly appointed open-space sleeping and living area accessed through beautiful doors from Zanzibar. The indoor space receives plentiful light through the floor-to-ceiling windows and is furnished for maximum comfort. There is an ample sitting area, a small dining table, a writing desk and a king-size bed appointed with a large net. The magnificently decorated en-suite bathroom includes double vanities, a free-standing bathtub, an indoor walk-in rain shower and an outdoor shower. The living area opens out onto the suite’s expansive private deck. This fantastic space offers a dining table, a comfortable couch, lounge chairs and a private pool nestled into the bush. There are outdoor front and back verandas as well.

Guests of The Farmstead enjoy all-inclusive food and drinks and take part in the same renowned expert game drives as the Royal Malewane. The Farmstead boasts inviting offerings including indoor and outdoor lounging and dining areas in addition to exclusive spa treatment rooms and an exclusive gym. All common spaces are open to adults only. Adult guests can also enjoy the Royal Malewane’s main lodge facility, including the dining and bar areas boasting a magical backdrop of the lodge’s wildlife watering hole. The Waters of Royal Malewane Bush Spa, offering full-service treatments, an outdoor heated lap pool and a fully-equipped gym, is also not to be missed.
