The 95sqm Suite 501 at Badrutt’s Palace was renamed to honor its most famous guest, Alfred Hitchcock, who made use of this luxurious mountain escape several times, including in the development of one of his most loved movies, The Birds.

Consisting of one bedroom and two bathrooms, its fifth floor location provides exceptional views of Lake St. Moritz, which can be enjoyed from the living room’s furnished balcony and from the combination of floor-to-ceiling and double-height windows found throughout the suite. Richly decorated with furniture the revered director would appreciate, the living room takes the form of a traditional lounge and offers guests a wealth of seating options as well as a minibar with complimentary soft drinks, liquors and snacks. The well-proportioned separate bedroom, meanwhile, has a writing desk and is furnished with either a king-size bed or double twin beds. It leads into the master bathroom that is finished in marble and includes a bathtub, walk-in rain shower and double vanities. The suite also has an additional guest toilet for extra convenience. 

Guests staying in the Hitchcock Suite are well looked after by the hotel’s butler service.
